In November 2022, Dr. Duan from CCPGE was admitted as a member of the CSA Z662 Design Technical Subcommittee by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA Group). He now holds memberships with both the Design Technical Subcommittee and the Materials Technical Subcommittee.

Dr. Duan received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, UK in 1996. He has worked in stress analysis, materials, and integrity assessment of oil and gas pipeline for nearly 20 years, and has successfully completed numerous projects in this field. Dr. Duan’s membership with the CSA Z662 Design Technical Subcommittee is a testament to his extensive experiences and achievements, and also highlights CCPGE’s recognized expertise in pipeline stress analysis and integrity assessment.
